Instructions for Accessing the Class Resource Portal

Once you’re registered for a class, you’ll receive an invitation to join our Student Resource Portal at seventhsight.org.

This portal serves as both our social network and class resource hub, a system we’ve successfully used for over a decade. Below are the steps to get started and make the most of the platform:

Step 1: Create an Account

  1. If you’re visiting the portal for the first time, you’ll see limited information until you create a profile.

  2. Create an account/profile on the site and wait for your approval. This process doesn’t take long.

  3. Once your account is approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You can then log back in and proceed.

Step 2: Join Your Class Page

  1. Each semester, a unique class page is created for every class.

  2. After logging in, navigate to the specific class page and click the “Join Now” button to add yourself to the group.

  3. Confirm that you’ve successfully joined by checking that your name appears as a member of the group.

What You’ll Find on Your Class Page

  • Zoom Link for live sessions

  • Class Dates and schedules

  • Class Recordings (available as the course progresses)

  • Secure Messaging with classmates and instructors

    • Note: Messages sent through the portal will forward to email addresses without revealing your email.

  • Homework Announcements and Reminders sent through instructor email blasts

It’s crucial to join the class page for every course you’re taking, as this is the primary platform for important updates.

Special Features for Remote Viewing and Practice Groups

  • For remote viewing classes, you can upload and share files, such as pictures, Word documents, or PDFs, directly through the platform.

  • Separate group pages are available for:

    • Wednesday and Sunday Practice Groups (clairvoyance and mediumship students/graduates).

    • Spirit Photography Group and other shared interest pages.

  • Public members can also join the general community page to share content, participate in reading exchanges, and join occasional social or practice events.

Usage Guidelines

  • The portal does not allow spammers or marketing of professional services.

  • Only registered students can access specific class pages.

  • Class pages typically remain active for six months after the course ends, longer if the group remains engaged.

Timing and Support

  • Class pages are usually created about two weeks prior to the semester start date. If you don’t see your class page immediately, please be patient. You’ll receive detailed instructions at that time.

  • If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. You can also contact your instructor directly via email at debrakatz@yahoo.com.

Thank you for being part of our community, and we look forward to seeing you on Seventh Sight!
